Education, Talks and Demonstrations

Capital Bee can arrange talks and demonstrations, and is already working with schools to encourage people to understand bees. We are currently working with Transition Town Brockley to encourage people to take up beekeeping.

Particular areas of interest are bees in urban environments based on the experiences of establishing and running sites in London and bee friendly plants (Camilla Goddard was Country Living Magazine Organic Gardener of the Year in 2003). We are currently running free courses on starting beekeeping for Greenshoots in New Cross www.greenshoots.me.
